This qualification provides advanced therapy treatments for the face and body. It is a natural progression from level 2 and you would be an extremely well qualified therapist highly sought after in employment. You will acquire an excellent expertise in advanced body and facial therapies. If you are already qualified in any units these can be accredited to the diploma although you may be required to show your lecturer a treatment. We run the course over a very short timescale and 100% commitment and attendance is required.
The course contains 9 units and as case studies will be required for most of the units you must be prepared to allot reasonable time to developing and practising these new skills. The Academy has a salon and we will book you clients to work on. This will be arranged with your lecturer.
Mandatory Units:
A - Monitor procedures to safely control work operations.
B - Provide Body Electrical Treatments
C - Provide Facial Electrical Treatments
D - Provide Body Massage Treatments
E - Provide Electrical Epilation treatments
F - Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
Opt Units:
A - Provide Indian Head Massage
B - Provide Stone Therapy
Entry Requirements
Level 2 beauty therapy is of benefit although not compulsory. Diploma in health, safety and hygiene can be taken simultaneously if not held.

1 day to be spent working in salon.

£1850 including body massage
£1500 excluding body massage
A £300 deposit is required with enrolment and remaining monies paid in two instalments.
Option 1: Daytime Courses Next Course Date: 16th August 2010
This is available on Monday's between the hours of 9am - 5pm for the duration of 12 weeks.
Option 2: Evening Courses Next Course Date: 7th Sept 2010
This is available on a Tuesday evening from 6pm - 9pm for the duration of 28 weeks.
