WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Waxing is still one of the most popular and profitable methods of hair removal. This qualification will enable you to establish a regular client base. Excellent for those wishing to build beauty therapy qualifications.
COURSE CONTENT
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No previous knowledge required, but a good general education is essential as this is a demanding course. An excellent level of English is required. You must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently. You may be asked to sit an entry test if necessary. Entry is via initial interview.
DURATION
This is a 1 1/2 day course, after which you will need to complete 10 case studies. Then you will invited back to complete your three assessments and two multiple choice tests
.A deposit of £80.00 is required upon enrolment and the balance can be paid on the day.
COSTS
There are three different qualifications you can obtain and depending on what route you choose this will reflect on the price.

NVQ unit award in Depilation |
£240.00 plus assessment fee of £50 A VTCT lifetime registration fee of £16.00 may be required. |

VTCT Level 2 Waxing Certificate (QCF) This can only be achieved in conjunction with the pedicure course. |

QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED
The Academy of Beauty Therapy offers industry-recognised qualifications and at the completion of your course and providing that you provided sufficient evidence your will be awarded the following qualifications:
NVQ unit award in Waxing - Awarded by VTCT Examination Board
Certificate in Waxing - Awarded by The Academy of Beauty Therapy
Level 2 Waxing Certificate - Awarded by VTCT Examination Board
Both of which will enable you to obtain insurance from any recognised Insurance Company.

You will need the following items followed list as well as a waxing kit. Please ask for more details.
